Our History

60 years leading spanish education

A school at the forefront, always supported by excellent academic results.

Founded in 1966, Meres International School is the only private Asturian centre accredited as an official international school by the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization), one of the first in Spain to achieve this.

We are a model of academic and educational excellence, aimed at girls and boys from 3 to 18 years old. Based on the promotion of critical thinking, self-discipline and teamwork, we train multidisciplinary, global and resilient students and people.

Our own educational project starts with a unique architectural structure, in line with its incomparable landscape. With an area of ​​100,000 square meters, children enjoy outdoor playing & learning on a day by day basis.
